The
San Bernardino Mountains are located in Southern California.
The mountain range is a vacation getaway, conveniently
adjacent to 10% of our country's population. San Gorgonio
Mountain contains a wilderness area that is well worth
the trouble of getting a permit to visit.
Lake
Arrowhead is located on the western end of the San
Bernardino Mountains at around 5,500 feet. Big Bear
sits atop the range, with resort levels at 7,000 feet.
