Big
Bear Activities and Recreation
An
all-purpose resource for recreation is the Big Bear Valley
Recreation and Park District (909/866-9700). The office
is located at 41220 Park Avenue in Big Bear Lake. The Park
District maintains Meadow Park (next to the district office)
with its play areas for sand volleyball, tennis courts,
softball fields, horseshoe pits and picnic areas. This
is also a great place to swim in Big Bear Lake. Swim Beach
is fully fenced, has lifeguards on duty and has a snack
bar and shade trees. |
