Pacific Crest Trail Photos

The Pacific Crest Trail comes into Big Bear from Onxy Summit, goes back behind Baldwin Lake and across the mountains by Holcomb Valley. By far, the best views can be accessed from the Gold Fever Trail (includes maps). Here are some photos taken in late October 2008.

This area is great for off road driving, hiking and mountain biking. Polique Canyon is the entrance to use for the Gold Fever Trail and this hike along a small portion of the Pacific Crest Trail. Use this map to start.
