Juniper Point

Juniper Point, in Big Bear Lake, is a great place to start your day. Whether you want to stop for a picnic, or an easy hike near the lake, this is the perfect area to start!

Juniper Point offers a parking area, picnic tables and a lovely trail near the lake. The trail is south of the bike path and is close to the lake. You can easily follow it to the Solar Observatory. It is not difficult and can be walked in about a half an hour. Below are pictures of the picnic area, the trail and Big Bear Lake.
